A Better Now

We do not know if there is more after this life. We do not know if we will remember what we know now, in the next lifetime. We do not know if there will even be a next lifetime. We ​do not know if what we do now has any effect anywhere else. What if it does?

What if the more we learn now, the more we will be able to reference in some unknown future? What if the more we achieve now, the more we will start with in some unknown future? What if the better we make the now, the better will be some unknown future?​

We do not know what will come in ​the future, or what form it will take. We do not know what the future holds for humans or humanity. Is that any reason not to improve the now for ourselves individually, and ourselves collectively? Is a better now, not reason enough to do better?
